April's Glymm Box

It's that time of the month again! My April Glymm Box arrived in the mail today :) This time I received 3 deluxe samples and 1 full size product. There was also 1 bonus item which was a $100 gift certificate to NuMe products- specifically for their tools and hair extensions (hair care and accessories are excluded). If you liked last month's feather extensions from NuMe (I have yet to try them - to be honest, it seems like too much work :\), you can get 5 more pairs for free. Their styling tools in my opinion seemed a bit over price, so I don't think I will be taking advantage of this offer. If anyone wants it (limited to only one person), let me know and I can give you my coupon code.

Okay, so enough with the ramble, let's get to the goodies:
  • Lucia's Soap in No.6 Wild Ginger and Fresh Fig (25 g): Made with pure botanical extract and enriched with 100% certified organic shea butter - super cute packaging and good for travel!
  • Atelier Cologne in Orange Sanguine (1.2 ml): I'm not usually crazy about fragrance samples, but I have to admit, I am absolutely in love with this scent - perfect for the summer! Seriously, I can't stop smelling my wrists!
  • Free Your Mane's Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner (7.4 ml x 2): Sulfate and paraben-free! Made with an exclusive blend of oils (including Baobab, Argan, Pomegranate, and Almond)
  • Mai Couture's Social Gloss in G'vinity (full size, 5 ml): G'vinity is a pearly nude gloss that smells like vanilla and goes on smoothly. The gloss  totes that it enhances the volume of your lips to make them fuller. My lips are already quite full so I couldn't really tell the difference. I can however say that it feels really moisturizing. I applied it before dinner, and at 9 p.m. I can still feel it on my lips! Suggested retail price? $28!
Final thoughts: This wasn't my favourite box from Glymm, perhaps because the deluxe samples (with the exception of the gloss) felt a bit small - but for $10, I still think it's worth every penny :) Hope you ladies had as much fun unraveling your box of goodies as I did!

  2. Sure, you can have it! Do you want me to email it to you?

LOL, perhaps I'm easily pleased. I think you should have your expectations set if you're going to subscribe. You're paying $10 a month - and for the most part, you get your money's worth. I'm usually satisfied if I breakeven. A part of why I love beauty box subscriptions is for that element of surprise - some months you might be slightly disappointed, but when you get an awesome box, it makes it all worth it in the end :)

Shop around if you're still unsure - you might want to try Top Box (I'm still on the waiting list), Luxe Box, or Glossy Box!

  3. I'm actually so glad I unsubscribed from Glymm. I think the quality went downhill since it started. But it's good that you enjoy them! :)

    1. Sorry to hear that you were disappointed! It definitely wasn't their best box.

I have to admit though - I might purchase my FIRST full size product from this one... I can't get enough of Atelier's fragrance!

  5. Hi again, my email is babybluebell@live.com and I would just like to say thank you!

Also, almost all of the boxes if you break down is technically worth more than $30. And I figured out that the reason why most people weren't satisfied with this box (even though the worth was still the same) is because the lip gloss was $28 which pretty much just was the box except alot of people didn't like the lip gloss.

I'm either going to try Top Box or Glymm box (I'm leaning towards Glymm because I realllllyy love the packaging and butter london is sucking me in!) I also wish the put the jelly beans back!

  6. I randomly came across your blog on google search!
I unsubscribed from Glymm after the really bad March box with the feather extensions and stuff :| And I'm somewhat glad I unsubscribed for April because the only thing that looks of any valuable is the lipgloss and I dislike lipgloss so much!

Anyway, do you mind if you share the NuMe code with me as well? :D I was actually going to get one of the hair straighteners as a birthday present for my cousin. LOL Email me at x.vickiiiie@gmail.com

    Thanks! :)
